    ESO Model Factory Achieves 200 Percent Productivity Increase in Companies

    In cooperation with the Eskisehir Chamber of Industry (ESO) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the ESO Model Factory Digital Transformation Center successfully completed the Learn Transform Program to increase productivity and accelerate digital transformation in industry.

    Within the scope of the ESO Model Factory project, four participating companies from different sectors completed the Learn Transform pilot implementation in April 2024. During the four month program, the companies shared their productivity improvements and program outcomes with industrial stakeholders in Eskisehir.

    Evaluating Learn Transform Outcomes

    Speaking at the opening of the meeting, ESO Chairman Celalettin Kesikbas stated that the four companies participating in the Learn Transform pilot program completed the four month training and consultancy process successfully. He emphasized that the gains achieved during the program are critical and that ESO aims to analyze these results, share success stories, and transform them into actionable recommendations for future participants.

    Contribution to Development Through Increased Productivity

    In his address, Abdullah Basar, Director General of Strategic Research and Productivity at the Ministry of Industry and Technology, highlighted the importance of the Learn Transform Program, noting that productivity plays a key role in national development. He emphasized that companies achieving higher efficiency gain a competitive advantage, and that this program significantly contributes to increasing industrial productivity. Basar congratulated the four companies in Eskisehir that completed the program and expressed his appreciation for all participants, wishing continued success.

    200 Percent Productivity Increase

    Following the opening speeches, company representatives who successfully completed the program shared the results achieved with support from Lean Leaders. Through the implementation of Lean Production practices, participating companies achieved up to 200 percent productivity increases. Additionally, improvements included up to 90 percent reductions in setup and changeover times, up to 50 percent improvements in machine efficiency, up to 200 percent efficiency gains in office processes, up to 90 percent reductions in setup processes at the ESO Model Factory, and up to 40 percent improvements in overall production efficiency.

    The evaluation meeting was attended by ESO Chairman Celalettin Kesikbas, Director General Abdullah Basar, Deputy Director General Dr. Yücel Özcan, Head of Productivity Applications Department Dr. Yücel Özcan, ESO Board Member Mehmet Eren, ESO Vice Chairman Erven Sahin, ESO Model Factory Director Sema Sahin, Bilim, Industry and Technology Provincial Director Muhammet Taha Güven, KOSGEB Provincial Director Tarik Yilmaz, as well as industrialists and business representatives.

    At the end of the meeting, participating companies were presented with plaques and certificates of participation.
